In 2011 the Festival is thinking outside the square, aiming to develop major event partnerships to broaden the reach of the message and to meet people where they’re at. Inspired by successful community engagement and mobilisation models from around the world, the 2011 Festival extended format is reaching out into our streets and suburbs engaging new audiences.
The 2011 Festival will be held in venues across the city, state and streets to attract new audiences with an extended two week long format. The Festival will stage key feature events and build on established partnerships with government, business and community groups to stage independently produced events.
