Council election were followed by a presentation by SLF Strategy Collective focusing on the Transition Decade Campaign and providing a review of the last year, from consultation to launch to current plans.

Sights are now developing a plan for SLF's contribution to the Alliance campaign.

Other Alliance members such as Beyond Zero Emissions have been working on their contributions to the joint campaign, launching their Zero Carbon Australia Stationary Energy Plan with lots of success.

Transition Decade is now aiming for interconnection and mobilization. The Melbourne Mobilization Project is about to get going. Getting existing groups who’ve got it already, to connect further and to reach out to other communities.
Efforts to raise concern for sharing the plan, opportunities and/or challenges to continue. Discussions amongst the members present revolved around
how they see SLF and its position in the fields of research, advocacy, education and outreach. A healthy, articulate and open discussion was had about where it was thought SLF was, and where it was needed and what society needed, to be ready for the climate emergency and to respond to it.
