The sad reality of running an annual event is that each year we lose a few key members of the core Festival team. This is a small note of thanks, to wish them well in current and future endeavors (which will hopefully include many Festivals to come!).
Liem did an amazing job in the dual role of office coordinator and people coordinator. His professionalism and patience, particularly in dealing with last-minute requests and changes, were most welcome. Liem gave time and respect to each and every volunteer, proving to be a great people manager. Thank you Liem!
Libby co-coordinated the Festival program, taking on facilitation of Create Art, Create Music, Create Film, Feel and Play. Lib’s foresight, vision, organisation and random fits of laughter contributed to a smooth running and fun work environment. Lets hope her legs have finally recovered from running between the two music stages across the Festival weekend! Thanks Lib!
James pulled together our biggest exhibitor program since the Festival came to Federation Square, and did so with a calmness and integrity which was inspirational. Many exhibitors have commented on James’ professionalism as exhibitor coordinator, and many visitors have commented on the great diversity and range of exhibitors. Thank you James!
Tony wore many hats over the Festival season; coordinating the evolution and launch of the National Sustainable Events Planner, Production Co-coordinator, and Own Practice Coordinator. This overload of roles meant that he could be found in the office most weekends and late into the night – however he brought them together with style, inspiration and overwhelming energy. Thanks to Tony, the Coach and the Climate Doctor!
