The Sustainable Events Planner was launched as a key component of the National Sustainable Events Key Forum & Expo, which was held at this year’s Sustainable Living Festival.
Anita Roper, CEO of Sustainability Victoria (SV is responsible for administration of the Sustainability Fund, which has funded and supported this project), officially launched the online Planner tool. SLF’s resident ‘host with the most’ Anthony Peyton guided an enthused crowd from a cross-section of the events community through the various elements of the Planner.
The launch has led to SLF receiving several enquiries for further collaborations and invitations to lead workshops on how to use the Planner and to sit in on forum panels to discuss this emerging topic. Further work is being undertaken and phase 2 of the Planner will be going live in the coming weeks.
