The Potters Re-turn - Human Powered Potters

Fri 15th February 08 | 11:00pm - 3:00pm
Artplay

hosted by | City of Melbourne - ArtPlay

A group of Rajasthani potters will visit the Festival this year with human powered stone throwing wheels.
This is traditional pottery and human power at its finest. Join in and make your own pot in the Festival's pottery workshop. See these amazing stone slabs that spin for 15 minutes on only a lightly oiled stone in action; what a unique and sustainable tradition.
