Round found objects
This installation utilizes a symbol sport and reminder of the ancient joy of the sphere: Created entirely from round shapes found as beach detritus, the beauty of this work sits oddly with the environmental concerns it expresses.
Tony Adams
Adams has a BA (Sidney) and recently an MA (Victoria College of the Arts) and is currently undertaking an MA by Research at Monash University titled 'The Anatomy of Waste'. Adams has exhibited consistently and his achievements include: The Senini Award at McClelland Regional Gallery 2005, 'Create', at the Sustainable Living Festival 2006, PB Gallery, Swinbourne University and a solo show at the CSA Gallery. In addition he has completed two large private commissions. Most recently he collaborated with Caitlin Street to win the Montalto 2007 Sculpture prize.
