Raphael Siket
Bio
Raphael Siket is the director of ecolibria - the leading Building Biology service company in Australia. He is a qualified Building Biologist and has completed the most comprehensive course of study currently offered in this field. Raphael has a Diploma in Building Biology from the Australian College of Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Cape Town. He has also completed the first rate (5 Star) energy rating course and has an Accrediting Training and Assessment qualification. Raphael delivers training in various subjects at the Australian College of Environmental Studies and is a guest lecturer at the Southern School of Natural Therapies. He is the president of the Australasian Society of Building Biologists and one of the pioneers in the field of Building Biology in Australia. He is passionate about the environmental and wellness industries and has delivered talks at many events including the Sustainable Living Festival, Sustainable Building Conference and Manningham City Council sustainable open nights.

This presentation takes a close look at what can be enhanced in your home and/or business to make it greener and healthier. On average we spend over 90% of our time indoors and the principles of Building Biology help to not only ensure that your home or business building is healthy and green but addresses the need for the building to support and enhance your body and mind. The field of Building Biology will be explained - A health science popular in Europe and now growing in Australia. The affects of colour, lighting, telephone towers, powerlines, wireless technology, water quality, cleaning and personal care products, geomancy and indoor air quality will all be discussed. Confusion seems to reign supreme when it comes to the field of water filters, eco-friendly products and electromagnetic radiation. This presentation will help to explain away many myths and provide simple explanations and guidance in these areas. What causes Sick Building Syndrome and simple solutions are all addressed in this practical and interactive presentation.
