- conserve energy by turning off all unused lights and appliances
- use blinds, curtains, shades and windows to keep the heat in or out
- turn the computer and stereo off at the powerpoint

Annelise likes to do it in the bathroom"We collect water in a bucket while showering then flush the loo by 'throwing' this water down the loo. Feels like travelling in rural Bolivia but it works!
