Amanda likes to do it in her community

She:
- switches off the TV
- gets active in community events
- takes time out for physical activity
- makes space to do something creative
- asks her local politicians to help us change the way we live

Physical activity and community interaction are key elements of wellbeing and health in the community.

"I recycle all the water from the shower, kids baths, washing veges and dishes to put on the veg garden, use cloth nappies cleaned without nasty chemicals, breastfeed my babies and buy 2nd hand or freecycle everything I can. I have a baby clothes sharing network with friends. We walk to school or shops most days rather than drive and buy locally.

"I ride my bike to school and I asked mum and dad to use recycled containers instead of plastic wrap in my lunch.
