The National Centre for Sustainability hosts this event aimed at highlighting some of the employee services that workplaces can offer to help employees make sustainable choices at work. All members of the business community from corporations to SMEs will benefit from the forums and are invited to attend. A panel of speakers will each address the topic for 15 minutes, followed by question time. The forum will be facilitated by Linda Condon, Manager of the National Centre for Sustainability. 'Ethical Sustainable Investment Solutions'
Michelle Brisbane is a Financial Adviser and now part owner of Melbourne based financial planning practice Ethical Investment Services. Michelle has worked in the industry for over seven years and seen the area grow dramatically.

She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and Ethical Investment Association (EIA). As a financial adviser Michelle provides her clients with the opportunity to create ethical and sustainable investment solutions, allowing her to combine personal philosophies with investment practice.

Monique Bayer B.Comm, Cert ECM - Swinburne University of Technology
'Green Office Programs'
Monique Bayer is a member of the team at the National Centre for Sustainability. Her current role is as Green Office Coordinator for Swinburne University of Technology. Her professional background lies in Environmental Change Management, with a focus on effective behaviour change for sustainability. Monique also undertakes Project Management at the NCS, currently working on programs advocating Teaching and Learning for Sustainability in the TAFE sector.

Emma Dean - Travel Smart
'Travel Smart Program'
Emma Dean has been advising workplaces how to set up Travel Plans since 2004 when she joined the TravelSmart team. She has a masters in town planning and rides her bike or walks to work most days. TravelSmart is now working on improving facilities for walking and cycling. Emma has developed through her work in TravelSmart workplaces a program called WalkSmart and CycleSmart which is a corporate health program that encourages staff to walk or cycle to work though a customised web site and in some cases the provision of other materials such as pedometers. Workplaces have access to this program if they have a live Transport Plan in place. Emma has spoken at a variety on conferences including the 2005 National Activity Conference, 2006 Australasian Transport Research Forum, and the 2006 Physical Activity and Healthy Eating Forum.

Geoff Andrews - Genesis Now Consulting
'Immediate Energy Opportunities and Solutions for Businesses'
Geoff is the founder of 'Genesis Now', which reduces energy consumption and costs in all energy end uses and a wide range of industries. He is also the co-founder of Ark Resources, a small dynamic company ESD consultancy which works with building developers, design teams and government. He is a mechanical engineer specialising in energy efficiency and ESD, who uses lateral thinking and innovations in engineering and non technical areas to improve the effectiveness of client organisations. This requires an understanding of client company goals, culture, production processes, and procedures. Geoff finds synergies which reduce energy consumption and costs while achieving company goals in other areas, such as improvements in productivity. He has completed hundreds of projects for a wide range of industrial and commercial clients.
