The event will be a talk that also incorporates some demonstrations. All aspects of Building Biology will be discussed. The sources and potential health and environmenta;l impacts of electric and electromagnetic fields will be covered. Demonstrations showing the fields emitted by common household applicances will make the talk informative and interative. A discussion on the quaililty of our water and the need to filter and energise this water will also be covered. Old water filters and water pipes will be passed around to provide a greater understanding of how our water is delivered and what some filters look like after short periods of filtering. What can affect the quality of our indoor air (air fresheners, cleaning detergents, deodorant, perfumes, etc) will be evaluated.
Raphael Siket
Raphael Siket is the director or a business called ecolibria in Melbourne. He has both a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Diploma in Building Biology. He is president of the soon to be incorporated Building Biology Industry Association. He is a lecturer at the Australian College of Environmental Studies in both Air Pollution and Sick Building Syndrome mofules. He is also a guest lecturer at the Southern Schools of Natural Therapies. Raphael practices building biology full time and has conducted air sampling at one of the largest wind turbine blade factories in Australia as well as electromagnetic field/radiation audits. He has experience in the fields of building design, Geomancy, alternative building products and chemical free homes.
