Australian Ethical Investment is one of Australia's most active and successful fund manager in the ethical arena. James' presentation will address the following questions: What is ethical/socially responsible investing? Do socially responsible investments mean compromising returns? How ethical screening can reduce investment risk and identify potential growth sectors? The presentation will also give an overview of Australian Ethical and its investment process. Rather than just boycott environmentally and socially damaging companies, Australian Ethical Investment is unique in that it actively seeks out investment in companies doing innovative and positive things in areas such as efficient and renewable energy, recycling, organic agriculture, alternative transport, healthcare and education.
