This will be a one-hour dynamic interactive presentation of Al Gore's new climate change material combined with the best Melbourne/Australian examples of positive change on a community, cultural and business level. This will be an interactive, participatory, inspiring and engaging presentation.

Gilbert Rochecouste
Gilbert is recognised nationally and internationally as a leading voice in sustainable communities and businesses. He speaks passionately about the new emerging paradigm that is creating more sustainable ways of living. He has worked with hundreds of main streets and thousands of businesses over the last 15 years in creating innovative outcomes including the Flinders Lane precinct (Melbourne), Melbourne Central Masterplan (Melbourne), Kings Cross (Sydney), Fortitude Valley (Brisbane), Rundle Mall (Adelaide), North Terrace (Perth), Noosa (Qld), Sydney and Mailing Roads (Melbourne). He is the creator of the famous Gaslight Night Market and the Epoch Foundation promoting ethical business (conduct). He is the Managing Director of the award winning Village Well, an innovative Place Making, communication and cultural change organisation since 1992. Village well is leading the property industry in the re-activation of big boxes into urban/ suburban settings. Born on the exotic island of Mauritius, Gilbert opens the hearts and minds of his audience to a new, life-nourishing story that is for its time. Additionally Gilbert has been selected as one of Al Gore's trainee climate messengers to attend the Sydney training session as part of The Climate Project -Australia supported by the Australian Conservation Foundation. He will have completed this training prior to presenting this workshop for the Sustainable Living Festival.
