Rick Coleman of Southern Cross Permaculture Institute, is a permaculture teacher, designer and consultant. He and his wife Naomi have developed their 10-acre property in Leongatha, South Gippsland as a permaculture demonstration site. Rick and Naomi and their four children regularly host woofers (willing workers on organic farms) as well as conducting Permaculture Design Certificate courses on the site. As well as consulting for clients developing or looking to purchase properties, Rick has taught permaculture on every continent and consults with aid agencies on sustainable development projects, including work in Nepal, Ethiopia and Peru.
