How we use water, energy, food and other precious resources has a profound effect on our planet. This is now widely acknowledged, but there are aspects of our usage that society has yet to fully understand, and time is running out. Mark Doneddu takes us into the world of food production and the environmental impact of our current unhealthy western diet. We look at the vast resources needed to produce foods such as meat and dairy, how this affects our ecological footprint, and the impact of our impaired health on the environment.
