No Ordinary Horse

Music has always been a huge influence within my life and the lives of those around me. In times of drought, our family would have sing-alongs and join community get-togethers to perform music all night and lift people's spirits. The No Ordinary Horse Project presents an eclectic blend of songs written from my experiences in regional and now city life. The clashes between the two and ideas for learning from each other to build a stronger community within the whole of Australia are addressed in the show. The songs are sometimes a catharsis and sometimes simply an expression of my joy and need to share that joy of our unique lives here in Australia. I believe the seeking of knowledge, understanding and exposure to information from our many different backgrounds, not only race but geographical, can prove hugely beneficial to our future.
