This talk and workshop will present the ancient yogic knowledge of sustaining vibrant health. It will introduce basic information about chakras, particularly the Manipur chakra (naval centre); the anatomy of digestion; Agni - the digestive fire; the yogi diet and how all this influence our physical, mental and social health. The presentation will begin with a short intro talk, followed by a power point presentation, discussion, opportunity for questions and then we will put the theory into practice with some yoga exercises and techniques.
Larissa Azar and Gopal Puri
Gopal Puri is a ‘train the trainer’ senior yoga instructor and co-director of the Yoga in Daily life centre in Richmond, Melbourne. An ardent practitioner for the past 12 years, Gopal has mastered all 8 levels of the Yoga in Daily Life system. Larissa Azar is a yoga teacher and co-director of the Yoga in Daily Life centre. Larissa has travelled numerous times to India, within Australia & also recently to Europe participating in ongoing yoga training. As a full time yoga teacher she conducts a variety of classes and courses at the yoga school, in workplaces, schools and conducts numerous workshops and retreats for positive health.
