This workshop will offer instruction for classical Yoga practice that kids will enjoy! They will learn how to practice some Yoga Asanas (exercises) that will help improve flexibility and muscle tone; improve body awareness; develop concentration; relax the body and mind; develop social skills and self confidence. The class will incorporate games and also introduce basic relaxation, full yogic breathing and basic meditation.
Larissa Azar and Gopal Puri
Gopal Puri is a 'train the trainer' senior yoga instructor and co-director of the Yoga in Daily life centre in Richmond, Melbourne. An ardent practitioner for the past 12 years, Gopal has mastered all 8 levels of the Yoga in Daily Life system. Larissa Azar is a yoga teacher and co-director of the Yoga in Daily Life centre. Larissa has travelled numerous times to India, within Australia & also recently to Europe participating in ongoing yoga training. As a full time yoga teacher she conducts a variety of classes and courses at the yoga school, in workplaces, schools and conducts numerous workshops and retreats for positive health.
