I am a permaculture promoter, teacher and writer, now spending half of each year in Ireland, where my Irish husband and I, Peter Cowman, will be promoting permaculture from next year on. In my 2007 book 'The Wisdom of Water' I approach this critical subject from a positive permaculture perspective, for instance - in relation to the wastage of water due to flushing urine down the toilet, when urine can be used, perfectly safely, to fertilise one's garden.
