Prue Simmons is a passionate Zoologist, avid environmentalist and volunteering expert! Over the last few years, Prue has been working throughout Australia and overseas as both a professional and a volunteer in the environmental field. Journeying from the ever-changing landscape of Victoria to the sweltering interior of Australia and then places as far reaching and exotic as Borneo, Africa and Japa, Prue has discovered a myriad of amazing volunteering opportunities. Knowing the importance of inspiring people to act towards the environment, sustainability and conservation, Prue's diverse work as a Zoologist Motivational Speaker and now as the Volunteer Engagement Officer for Conservation Volunteers teaches people how to get involved with the environment and wildlife and find opportunities to make a practical, hands-on difference to our unique environment. Prue's hopes that her passion for environmental volunteering will ignite and inspire passion in others to help make a practical difference to sustainability and the environment.
