Solar Panel | Solar power at home - what does it mean to go solar, & what financial support exists?

Sat 21st February 09 | 1:00pm - 1:50pm
Design tent

hosted by | Alternative Technology Association
This session will explore everything you need to know about solar electricity from a policy, government and personal perspective.Find out what it actually means to install solar PV, what benefits it will bring you and the wider community, what rebates are available, what feed-in tariffs are and whether you are eligible. The talks will also cover the interaction between installing your own solar and the coming emissions trading scheme. The talk will NOT talk about the latest in solar PV technology, whether thin-film is better than mono-crystalline, or how much energy it takes to build one (although you can see me after if you really want to talk about this stuff…)
