Grey water use is a viable long-term strategy to address Australia’s need for simple water-saving measures. But is it as simple as diverting waste water from your laundry & kitchen onto your garden? Brian McLean guides you through the ‘why’ to the ‘how’ – and ‘how not!’

Brian McLean
Brian McLean co-founded Tri-Nature in 1989. The pathway that led them there began with Brian's schoolboy fascination with mathematics and chemistry. Whilst working in the chemical industry in cleaning products he became Head of Laboratory Research and Development. From here he worked in other areas; re-design, alternative and new technologies that initiated his interest in "gentle chemistry". Founding Tri- Nature meant that he could take a path of developing a range of products with care for the environment, something that no other manufacturer undertook voluntarily at the time. at this time, Brian had produced an extensive range of gentle household and commercial products, which was environmentally responsible, and effective!! Brian began on an exquisite skin care range, using natural extracts and essential oils in the 1990's well before other manufacturers were embracing consumer demand for safer, more natural personal care products.
Tri-Nature is 100% Australian owned and manufactured. It was founded toprovide genelt alternative for the cleaning and personal care industry. We wish to show that environmentally hamful chemicals can be replaced with natural, renewable resources without loss of economy or efficiency. At least 80% of products are sourced in Australia. whilst all packagin and labelling is from here and NZ, and all packaging is recyclable.
