Anne - Marie Spagnolo & Michelle Brisbane

Michelle Brisbane is a Certified Financial Planner, having completed her CFP studies as well as a Diploma of Financial Planning, a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Science. Michelle is managing director at Ethical Investment Services and has been giving financial advice with an ethical overlay since 1999. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia. Prior to her involvement in financial planning, Michelle was a mathematics and science teacher. Having always been interested in environmental and social issues, her work at Ethical Investment Services allows her to combine personal philosophies with investment practice. Michelle offers financial planning advice, which combines profit with principle. As an active staff member at Ethical Investment Services, Michelle has been a catalyst for the growth of ethical funds in Australia through ongoing lobbying of fund managers and networking with industry representatives.

Anne-Marie Spagnolo has been providing financial advice with an ethical overlay for 8 years and is a managing director at Ethical Investment Services. Anne- Marie is regularly invited to conduct seminars on ethical investment and has participated in numerous television and radio interviews. She is also the author of The Ethical Investor, a handbook for ethical investors published by the Penguin Group in 2007. Anne-Marie completed a Bachelor of Business in Financial Planning at RMIT University where she received the Faculty Award for Top Graduate in Financial Planning. Having travelled and worked in the developing world in her twenties and thirties, including two years as an English Teacher in Mozambique, Anne-Marie believes the expansion of ethical investment will have a positive impact on the way companies choose to do business, particularly in regards to addressing global poverty and the environmental impacts of their activities.
