Year 6 & 7 Students from the Environmental Neighbourhood Cluster
4 Schools 1 Planet. Williamstown High School, Williamstown North Primary School, Williamstown Primary School and Spotswood Primary School together form the Environmental Neighbourhood Cluster (ENC). The cluster aims to develop a model for environmental education that will enable students to play a leading role in creating an environmentally sustainable future. We build community partnerships that are based on sustainability principles, best practice and cutting edge research and raise awareness of local and global environmental issues. Students research, develop understanding and actively engage in environmental projects within their neighbourhood. Curriculum will inspire students to explore global issues of environmental importance. The units of work that the cluster develops will be adaptable to any community that seeks to become and Environmental issues. The ENC aims to inspire students and adults towards new ways of teaching and learning based on real and rich tasks, which create a stronger connection to their community and the planet.
