After eight yeas of playing to crowds in Austin, Texas, Thomas moved to Los Angeles to gain broader exposure while recording his debut album ‘Another Night Somewhere Else’. Thomas followed up with the release of two more albums ‘Welcome to Yikesville’ and ‘Strange Company’ , Thomas has played Hollywood venues including The Roxy, 14 Below and The Gig and gained a loyal and significant fan base. Thomas' latest work 'Strange Company', cleverly find new routes to sing of love, longing and life, sometimes even dealing with dark subject matter with an airy groove that makes people want to sing along almost instantly. NYC (bigger than you are), is a signature Thomas Vecera work that combines alternative folk writing with stylistic pop grooves and an unforgettable chorus. Thomas now lives in Melbourne playing live music and introducing crowds to his new brand of storytelling. He is currently working on a new album.
