Sam Fletcher grew up in what was once a sleepy coastal town just south of Byron Bay where a surfing lifestyle was adopted. He gravitated toward the sounds of John Coltrane, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, SRV, Neil Young, the Eagles and whatever was floating around. For the last few years Sam has been travelling the east coast playing original solo gigs and at festivals such as the Narooma Blues Festival, Thredbo Blues Festival, Bilyana Folk Rhythm and Life Festival and Surfing the Coldstream Music Festival. He also leads a band called Sam and the Circle Cycle.
