Meghan Street has conducted healthy fresh food demonstrations at schools, festivals and workshops throughout Melbourne. Her aim is to inspire people to return to fresh uncooked and unprocessed foods as a way of increasing their health and lowering the impact of their diets on the planet. Meghan has a keen interest in promoting children’s health and wellness, and strives to inspire kids and families to explore the delights of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables and recreate tasty and healthy recipes using these ingredients in their own homes and kitchens. She is owner and operator of the ethical small business Vegan Revolution, which promotes the use of natural products and healthy eating habits. Meghan is also a Vegetarian Network Victoria volunteer.
Vegan Revolution is a small, owner operated eco-friendly and ethical business located at Queen Victoria Market in North Melbourne. We specialise in natural cosmetics, skin care products, and health and wellbeing books. Vegan Revolution also offers workshops and demonstrations on healthy raw food preparation and natural health and body care. Started in 2004, Vegan Revolution aims to encourage people to make more ethical and informed consumer choices and raise awareness of the consumer’s impact on their own health and that of the environment. Vegan Revolution is committed to operating according to this ethos and transports goods to and from the market in a cargo bike to reduce carbon emissions. We also select our product range according to defined criteria that help reduce their environmental impact and ensure the product is ethical. In operating our business we use recycled or reused materials where possible for packing and shipping and advertising material. Vegan Revolution also contributes to the community by way of supporting various not-for-profit organisations through prize donations and promotion.
