World Vision is an international relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice in over 100 countries. World Vision’s advocacy campaign, Don’t Trade Lives, exists to unite Australians against human trafficking and slavery - the third biggest crime in the world today behind drugs and arms. The products that we buy and use in Australia can affect people in other countries. As consumers, we need to be aware of what we buy and how it gets here. We can all act to eliminate trafficking and slavery in our lifetime - ethical consumerism is the key.
