You have the power. Save Energy. is the Victorian Government’s energy savings campaign encouraging all Victorians to save energy, money and reduce their impact on climate change.

If we could see greenhouse gases, it would be easier to know how much and when we are producing them.

The You have the power. Save Energy. campaign uses black balloons to measure our greenhouse gas emissions. One black balloon represents 50 grams of greenhouse gas and each Victorian household produces around 12 tonnes of greenhouse gases each year or 240,000 black balloons.
