Eliana Gunawardana has produced an installation piece that reflects on the history of the relationship between man and animal – specifically the sport of hunting: Having been exploited hunted, and driven from its natural habitat, her wild Zebra has ‘crossed over’ - a virtual Zebra fused into the living assemblage of the urban home.

Eliana Gunawardana completed her Diploma of Visual Arts at NMIT in 2004, and participated in the group show 'Eight'; NMIT and was a finalist for the Mental Health Week Art Competition. In 2007 Eliana completed her BA in Fine Art Painting at RMIT, and has participated in the RMIT BA Painting 2007 Graduate Exhibition titled; 'Surface', at Eckersley Gallery
