eco-id Festival

You may be wondering what sustainable practices does the Festival use and what plans are there for more sustainable practice in the future?

The Festival actively works towards creating a living breathing example of a sustainable event in action. The Sustainable Living Festival aims to walk the talk in event production, and to help the Festival advance its sustainable practices.

Own Practice Framework
The Festival production manages the organisation with a nature-based system. This approach covers all event aspects of Festival.

WasteWise Event
The Sustainable Living Festival is proud to be a WasteWise event, and the Festival has been recognised as a leader in the events industry for our performance. Our WasteWise team is working to further WasteWise practices. We need your commitment to sustainability, to achieve our goals. Guidelines for reducing, recycling and reusing waste from the event will be included in the exhibitor kit in January. These include a “wash against waste” set-up for our Foodies and recycling collections throughout the weekend. You can start now, by thinking about your display and its waste impact on site and after the festival, or contact SLF for advice.

Green Power Event
All electricity that is used at the Festival will be purchased as GreenPower, Green Tick approved.
