Claire Hollingsworth

Sat 21st February 09 | 3:00pm - 3:45pm
River Stage

Claire Hollingsworth has built a reputation in her hometown of Perth, not only for her whimsical folk-pop songs, but for the storytelling that accompanies her live performances. Subjects of her odes include a rat, an electro musician, furniture, electrical goods, a herd of angry french cows, and a town with plenty of vices and never enough gold. Claire now resides in Melbourne, and can be seen playing with the GOGS (Jock Hutton and Warwick Dunn) - a couple of fully grown men who aren't afraid to rock out on the glockenspiel.
