Shifting Tableaux' addresses the theme of the participant as spectator. The contemporary urbane dweller lives in a world of reflections. In the reflective universe recreated in this work, the spectator is also the actor and physical the separation between performer and spectator is blurred, exposing the elusiveness and the multiple of layers of existence.
Isabel O'Brien
Isabel O'Brien has a background in sculpture, audio-visual installations and theatre set design. She recently completed her MA (Art In Public Space). Her work explores and interprets visual perception and the mechanics of the eye. She has participated in various Public Art installations, most recently in a laneway project, Dandenong
