Transport planning is an integral part to all events, particularly those that are based in remote or difficult-to-access areas. Transport Planning revolves around ensuring that all involved with the event will be able to travel to and from the event in an appropriate and sustainable manner.

Facilities and infrastructure need to be assessed such as roads, public transport lines, footpaths and bike lanes to ensure they meet the needs of the event organizers, participants and attendees.
