Feeling safe and secure in an event setting is something that many of us take for granted. However, a security team is necessary for almost any event these days to achieve sustainability from a social perspective. The security team must be able to deal with any incidences, the probable and improbable, or at least know what the procedure is to ensure that there are people who can deal with major incidences.

To enhance the attendees' and organisers' experiences socially, event security should be adequate and competent enough to respond, mitigate and deal with even the most extreme incidences.
