Presenter bio: Elliot is one of Australia’s leading experts on sustainable transport. He has worked both internationally and around Australia on a variety of transport issues. He acted as Expert Witness on Canberra’s Senate Inquiry into Australia’s Fuel Supply and Alternatives in May, 2006 and advised the Prime Minister’s Office on petrol prices. Elliot is currently the Director of the Institute for Sensible Transport. This role requires him to develop sustainable transport and land use solutions for government and the private sector.
He has a comprehensive knowledge of world’s best practice sustainable transport planning and is able to adapt international examples to the local context.
Host Organisation:The Institute for Sensible Transport works to reduce car use in urban areas. It does this through an integrated approach of facilitating an environment more attractive to walking, cycling and public transport.

Description: Public Transport Special Event Ticketing - The presentation explains the Department of Transport initiate to combine ticketing for an event with public transport travel in order to make it easier and more attractive for people to choose to use public transport to travel to an event.

Presenter bio: Frank Gribi has many years of experience both in event logistics, hospitality and public transport having worked both locally and internationally on events such as: Manchester Commonwealth Games, Sydney Olympics, Melbourne Commonwealth Games and World Swimming Championships to name a few. Frank is also qualified in hospitality management, holds an MBA in Public Administration and has many years of public transport experience for events.
