Description: To truly achieve an effective continual improvement process for their events and facilities, Event Managers must look beyond the implementation of simple, obvious environmental purchases and develop an integrated procurement strategy, linked to its environmental policies and other management systems. This presentation will explore the inter-connectedness of all aspects of an event and outline how greater and more long lasting results can be achieved for each subsequent event by generating leverage across the procurement of all goods and contract services through collaboration and co-operation with all relevant stakeholders.
