Macramé, or the art of knotting, is having a swift revival since the 70s. It’s easy, affordable, it doesn’t require any tools and can spice up any room with a wall art or planter.
This workshop will teach you how how to give new life to old fabrics, instead of sending it all to landfill. Participants will learn how to make a t-shirt yarn and then the basic knots to make a macrame planter including the half knot, four strand braid and square knot.
Join and don’t forget to bring an old t-shirt — it works best with no embroidery and no ribbed cotton.
