The threshold sculptural walkway representing a reflective pause between our current planetary trajectory and visions for a safe future. We are stepping through a threshold united; adapting and transitioning with shared fears and distress, hopes, visions, and actions.
The Threshold will be created in a community workshop with recycled plastic which is Carolyn Cardinets chosen artwork medium to educate on plastic use/misuse and a medium which reflects our material civilization. The sculpture will be displayed at the SLF Great Local Lunch. Festival attendees are invited to continue interacting with it adding their thoughts, feelings, hopes, and actions.
