Community groups do great work and provide immense unrecognised value. This event aims to provide an opportunity for community groups to receive skills development in sustainable development so that they can increase the impact of their activities.

This virtual interactive workshop will introduce the concept of sustainable development and how to implement sustainable development practices in community groups activities, including strategic planning and community engagement. Participants will receive templates and information sheets and will be supported within the workshop to create a sustainable development goal for their community group.

PRESENTER

Tracey Lloyd is the Director of The Art of Creative Strategy, a Moreton Bay-based governance and strategic planning consultancy working with small businesses and profit-for-purpose organisations. Tracey holds an MBA from Griffith University, is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders, and Associate Member of the Institute for Community Directors Australia. She has spent 20 years working with small businesses, professional services, international businesses, and in her passion area of non-government community-focused organisations.
