At the crossroads of wellness and environment, sensory nature walks, or forest bathing consists of immersing oneself in the forest to tune the senses. The activity aims to deepen the connection with nature and the inner self.
The event will comprise a small group who will journey along the Maribyrnong River to discover hidden treasures and enjoy charming spots. Participants can share in the sensory activities to restore their inner peace and enjoy the associated health benefits of living in harmony with nature on mental and physical wellbeing.
The event will include a three-hour fully guided walk and will include a tea ceremony. No prior experience is required, and participants only need a basic fitness level to participate.
Bookings are required prior to the event – a maximum of 10 participants per walk.
Sarah Monoury grew up in France, and yet she was always attracted to the natural beauty and open spaces of Australia. Working long hours in a high-stress corporate world, Sarah finds peace in surrounding herself with Mother Nature. Sarah has always felt the innate need to connect with nature to relieve stress, find clarity and attain inner balance. Recently, Sarah has embarked on part-time studies to qualify for forest therapy.
