Melbourne Girls’ College is hosting its 12th annual event where guests are invited to literally power a film. Specially designed, grid-connected pedal-driven and rowing machine generators will allow film watchers to keep the event carbon neutral. Opportunities to pedal for a latte, race a pedal-powered slot car or ride on a pedal-powered carousel are just some of the sideshow attractions. Food and drinks will be on sale or guests are welcome to BYO. Prizes on offer for most energy generated! Gates open at 5pm.

MGC aims to be carbon neutral and zero waste to landfill. This event is designed to inspire the community that this goal is ambitious, rewarding and achievable. All proceeds from the fund raising event go towards expanding our renewable energy capacity and improving energy efficiency.
