Community-Led Climate Action Plans are a new model for hyper-local, community-led responses to climate change.

Councils in Australia have long been at the forefront of climate change action.

However, the needs of communities are diverse and expectations are growing.

To respond to the complexity of climate change, communities must be empowered to drive action in partnership with Councils and on their own.

This panel brings together community members, local Councillors, and practitioners to discuss how community led climate action has allowed both metro and regional Victorian municipalities to identify their local priorities and design actions that are owned and implemented by them.
