Activities vary with the seasons, incorporating sensory play with seeds, leaves, crafts and music, as well as the micro world of mini beasts and soil!
Learning about the life of plants, animals, and their interactions with the environment, cultivating wonder and wisdom from nature play.
The sessions are led by Sofia Sabbagh, who has grown up on the Merri Creek and is passionate about sharing the wonders of the natural world with kids, and cultivating the skills of farming and nature observation/communication/respect in our youth. Hands on learning, both child led and nature led. Who knew that learning to care for our planet can be fun?
She has worked as a Bush Play facilitator with Eco-Explorers, and as a freelance artist and art teacher.
