Are you frustrated with the plastic waste situation? We are too!

Zero Waste Victoria will be at Queen Victoria Market to launch a new campaign, Reuse Instead: Low-waste Pledge. One of the simplest ways to reduce plastic pollution is to swap single-use plastics with alternatives that are friendlier to the planet.

Be part of the movement to rethink waste.

In this free drop-in workshop, you’ll learn how to make your own reusable produce bag. We’ll supply reclaimed fabric, needle, and thread, and show you how to make a reusable lightweight bag to use when buying loose fruit and veg.

Our zero-waste champions will be on hand to share tips and tricks to help you live a low-waste life. For those short on time, we will also be handing out FREE reusable produce bags.

Come along and learn more about our campaign and how you can be part of it. If you’re unable to attend, but would like to be involved in future activities or explore this opportunity further, please email info@zerowastevictoria.org.au.

The Queen Victoria Market is undercover. You’ll find us at Shed D from 11 am to 1:30 pm.

Zero Waste Victoria’s mission is to empower people to downsize their waste through everyday choices while advocating for meaningful change. We shift mindsets, facilitate action, and spotlight solutions to reduce waste. Our impact is to amplify the community voice and connect people, inspiring and enabling them to reach their zero waste goals.
