This 3-hour tour includes an introduction to the Pyrocene, an overview of biotecture and permaculture design concepts, and a demonstration of the principles in action informing disaster-resistant and regenerative human shelters, productive landscapes and lifestyles, and resilient communities.

The tour will include a detailed site inspection of a global-model Earthship-inspired new dwelling and the biotecture retrofit of a pre-existing solar-passive mud-brick house.

There will be an opportunity for an extended Q & A including suggestions and advice regarding securing building, planning, and environmental health approvals.
