This workshop will teach participants how to grow tiny seedlings of herbs and vegetables that can be grown in small spaces.
Microgreens are tiny herbs and vegetable seedlings that can be used as a garnish on anything from pizza to pasta, to salads to smoothies! They are easy to grow, even in the tiniest of spaces, making them an ideal choice for small space gardeners, even if they only have windowsill space.
In this hands-on session, participants make a pot to take home, and they will learn about seed varieties and where to source them, how to grow and care for microgreens, when to harvest, and how to use them in the kitchen.
The aim of this event is to empower people to grow food at home, especially those with limited growing space.
