Forest Therapy is an emerging field in the health and wellbeing industry. With recognised beneficial impacts on the immune system, heart rate, concentration, sleep patterns, and general wellbeing, this will be three hours well spent! Combining a gentle walk with forest therapy activities, participants will experience nature in a whole new way.
This walk is designed for those who want to experience a deeper connection with nature and benefit from the health and wellbeing offerings that the bush provides.
Eagle Nest showcases the best that the Dandenongs have to offer. Soaring eucalyptus trees, abundant birdlife, and curious animals will be companions for participants on this deeply immersive nature experience.
On the day of the walk, it is essential participants bring the following:
• Covered, walking shoes – no open-toed shoes, please!
• Water bottle and snacks (while social distancing restrictions are in place the group will not be sharing snacks at the end of the walk)
• Pen and notebook
• Clothing appropriate to the weather conditions
• Participants to bring and use sunscreen.
The walk will be cancelled if weather conditions are deemed to be too dangerous.
