With so many challenges facing us a let’s explore how we can work together, and make things better. During this 90 minute workshop we will be empowered by sharing our challenges asking ourselves ‘what can we do with what we have to make things better’.
Amy Churchouse is an expert in community engagement and personal empowerment; relationship management and human connection; solution design; optimising efficiencies; and improving the social and environmental impacts of projects. In 2016, to facilitate collabortaive opportunties to tackle issues faced by both individuals and communities she designed the Good Karma Network (GKN), a location based, safe, online community for neighbours to connect, share resources and find positive solutions to each other’s challenges. She then founded the Good Karma Effect (https://www.goodkarmaeffect.com/) to support the replication of the GKNs and growth of a movement which now has 35 GKNs with a combined total of over 140,000 members. Over the past 6 years she has worked with multiple stakeholders across the country to optimise social, environmental, and problem solving opportunities and outcomes available to communities through their GKNs.
