This tour will take participants through how CERES Fair Wood works, who they work with and why, and introduce their growing range of sustainable products to suit home DIY’ers, furniture makers, architects, builders and landscapers.
The purpose of the tours is to show guests what can happen when we give equally to growers, processors and buyers.
CERES FAIR WOOD
CERES Fair Wood is a unique social enterprise acting as an honest broker between Australian farm foresters, small local saw-millers, and environmentally conscious users. They connect people to the story of timber, a place that is transparently and ethically sourced.
CERES Fair Wood encourages growers to plant more trees. Trees purposefully planted on open pasture land, for conservation and profit, also have a critical role to play in addressing our climate and biodiversity emergency.
Another of the CERES social enterprises is ReBoxCo that custom-makes recycled and sustainably sourced wooden planter boxes, PODs and parklets for the residential, government, commercial and the hospitality sectors. Website
